Animating the opening credits…

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006

Hello again everyone! Haven’t posted in a while, been pretty busy. I was at Boeing a couple days ago meeting with their space division, but that story is for another time, ha ha…

Well I don’t have a whole lot of scenes left, and right now I’m working on animating the opening credits. It’s funny how a relatively simple credits sequence can take so long to complete. There’s only a handful of people that were involved with this movie, so designing a full sequence is a bit of a challenge, but I think it’s looking pretty good so far.

Sorry to anyone who’s e-mailed me that I haven’t gotten back to yet, I’ll try to respond within the next couple days.

Oh yeah, here’s DR. SPATULA:

In totally unrelated news, here’s a quick jazz song I recorded a few days ago while waiting for some video to render:

I wrote a short jazzy piano solo, then I remembered I had just taken my cornet out from storage so I thought I’d add a little brass to the tune as well.

I haven’t played the cornet in almost five years, I forgot how much I love the instrument. Guess I’ll start playing again!
